Become a distiller for the day when you attend the Silverstone Distillery Gin Academy.

Enter our inviting distillery and take your seat for a truly unique experience as you marvel at the secrets behind gin's history and production, and even make your own 70cl bottle of gin to take home!

Our expert distiller will lead you through the process of distillation as you take charge of your very own mini copper pot still and explore the many flavour profiles of botanicals as you combine your chosen flavours to create a gin that’s completely tailored to your tastes.
​
You'll learn how the distillation process works, learn about botanicals with our most popular recipes and be guided by our experts should you wish to try out your own flavour. This 3 hour hands on distilling class is hands on but don't let that deter you as we take you through step-by-step.

What’s more, you’ll learn how we distil our own Silverstone Distillery spirits in our 300 litre still called Sebastian, plus enjoy drinks on us and delicious table platter while our distiller leads an informative Q&A session. At the end of the class, you'll label your gin and enjoy 10% off in our distillery shop too!

We operate regular classes on Fridays and Saturdays, with the occasional special event class too.

Classes last approximately 3 hours with a
maximum of 12 guests
(unless a private booking).
This class strictly permits over 18s only.
We strongly recommend you have transport such as a friend / family member drive you or book a local taxi.

Got a special occasion you want to celebrate in style with your nearest and dearest? Why not book a private Gin Academy session at Silverstone Distillery? We can accommodate up to 30 attendees and can even customise the space and food to suit too!
