The distillery opens once again for a bumper Bank Holiday of booze and bikes!
While we weren't blessed with the same glorious weather and crowds as the Formula One, we still had plenty of thirsty (and hungry!) race-goers pop by to the distillery to sample our cocktails and pick up a memento of their trip in the form of a bottle or two!
The locals were also out in force as well, once again proudly supporting our small business and enjoying our little slice of countryside heaven up in Green Lane. And while Covid restrictions have been lifted since our last public event, we chose to carry on with table service as it worked so well for us and our guests before. Return visitors may have noticed that we upgraded our hay bale seating to some locally-made benches and our fully compostable, branded cups were back in use (complete with recyclable straws) as we also felt it best to keep our staff and customers safe and consider the environment too.
Our much-enjoyed premium cocktail menu returned and so did the provision of local street food vendors too! On Friday Santina's Woodfired Pizza Co filled our tummies with fresh, handmade pizzas, Saturday saw us tucking into Fish and Chips from the infamous Howe & Co blue van, and on Sunday we spiced things up with Mexican offerings from Taco Shack MK!
The positive feedback, once again from everyone was really touching and we have taken yet more suggestions on board for future events, so watch this space for updates on happenings you can enjoy at Silverstone Distillery soon!
